Who is this, Knocking at my door?
Go away!! I am not here any more!
I left 10 years ago, and went to the store!
I ran out of self esteem… I went to get some more…
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Who is this, that will not leave me alone?
If you really wanted to reach me, you should have called my phone!
I’m busy feeling sorry for my self, for being left all alone…
The people who used to love me, now speak in a different tone…
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Who is this, that can not take a hint?
Could it be my land lord, expecting to get the rent?
Isnt he aware that all my money is spent?
If I empty my pockets you will get nothing but lint!
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Who is this? That will not go away?
It seems like this person comes around everyday
I want to open the door… but I’m too afraid…
That there will be added depth to a hole I’ve already made
…………………………
No more knocking. what they seek they could not find…
Although it is over I do not feel refined
I walked over to the window, and peeked out the blinds…
The knocking was coming from OPPORTUNITY the whole time…
